Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we coat while the warehouse keeps running?

Usually, zone by zone. The standard playbook coats travel lanes over a weekend and bays overnight in sequence, with joint repairs slotted into normal shifts since they reopen in an hour. Send your shift schedule with the quote request and we sequence the system around it.

Is 24-hour forklift service a real number?

Yes, at normal temperatures with the specified build. It is the design requirement the chemistry was selected against, not a best case. Cold slabs stretch it somewhat and we will say by how much rather than let you find out.

Do we need a contractor or can our crew install it?

Both work. The 1:1 kit and the joint mender were specifically packaged for competent maintenance crews, with instructions that assume no coating experience and phone support during the install. Large or badly deteriorated floors are better contractor projects, and we will tell you which side of the line yours falls on.

What about our spalled control joints?

Fix them first, always; coating over failed joints is how coatings get blamed for joint problems. The fast-set mender routs, fills and shaves in minutes per joint and takes wheels in an hour. Many facilities run it as standing maintenance and defer full recoating for years.

Can lines and safety markings go on top?

Yes, the topcoats are striping-ready: traffic lanes, pedestrian walks, staging boxes and OSHA markings go directly over the cured system with standard striping paints, typically the same weekend as the coating.

Is there a program for coating contractors?

Yes: volume tiers, net terms, job-lot packaging and regional lead referrals from this site. Mention contractor interest through the form and we send the program sheet.

Floor Question Pending?

Slab condition, chemistry, scheduling: ask before you order and the order comes out right.
